31 Days of Gratitude

For the second year in a row, I will be joining in a writing challenge for 31 days of blogging on a topic…my chosen topic is gratitude.

Last year at this time, I was in a challenging place in my life. I spent the days of October reflecting on what it means to surrender to God. Opening my heart to God and surrendering my hopes, desires, dreams, and everyday challenges really stretched my faith and allowed me to see God work daily in my life. In big ways. In small ways. In amazing ways. In everyday moments that made me simply pause and remember He is always, always with us.

This year, I want to take the month of October to reflect on gratitude. Life is messy. Life is challenging. Life is not always easy. Trusting God comes with sacrifices and trusting when you have no idea how the story…a.k.a your life…will turn out.

Taking time to reflect on the blessings in the challenges of everyday life helps me to keep my focus on gratitude which is exactly where it needs to be.

A gratitude journal changed my life last year. Gratitude can change yours, too. Even if nothing in your life changes, if the crazy, hard, challenging circumstances don’t change, if your perspective and attitude become one of gratitude…everything can change.

Join me this October for daily reflections on gratitude.
