31 Days of Surrender: An Attitude of Gratitude

Choosing to have an attitude of gratitude requires me to make the choice to think positively despite my circumstances and situation. This is not always easy, but I am learning that this perspective helps me stay focused on what God wants rather than people and the crazy chaos that surrounds me in everyday life. Surrendering my agenda and attitude to a more Christ-like perspective and attitude helps me to practice an attitude of gratitude despite my circumstances. When I have an attitude of gratitude, it opens the door for opportunities to truly live out my Christian faith every, single day.

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT
